Qingdao University of Technology opened a general college major in logistics management in 2002, and began to enroll undergraduates nationwide in 2005. It has been a key construction major of the university since its establishment. Now it has a master's degree authorization point for management science and engineering, and a professional master's degree authorization points in engineering management.
At present, there are 7 professional teachers, 4 teachers with senior professional titles, and 2 double qualified teachers; Among them, 4 have doctoral degrees and 2 are visiting scholars from British and American universities. In recent years, teachers of this major have presided over 5 provincial and ministerial level projects, undertaken 10 horizontal projects, published 56 academic papers in core journals, and published 12 monographs and edited textbooks.
Main courses: Supply chain management, Warehousing and distribution management, Logistics technology economics, Logistics information technology, logistics cost management, Logistics system analysis and design, International logistics, Procurement management, etc. Students in this major have been fruitful in science and technology innovation activities, winning 5 national awards and accumulated 15 prizes with the second prize or above in other competitions at all levels and types.
This major aims to cultivate senior professional with all-round development morally, intellectually and physically, who can meet the requirements of socialist market economy and modernization construction, have systematic knowledge and ability in economy, management and law, master modern logistics management theory and technology, basic knowledge and skills, familiarize themselves with logistics business in production and circulation activities at home and abroad, and can be engaged in logistics system planning and design and logistics management.
This major lasts for four years and is awarded a bachelor's degree in management.
